Live multi camera web casts are now more affordable; video for DVD’s may be mixed live and then enhanced in an NLE. Worship services with video projection can use the SDI out. City Council meetings with local cable access can output composite or digital. The uses are many.
The SE-800 has four multi format inputs: DV, Component, YUV, S and composite. 1 output DV, component, YUV, S, Composite and SDI. Built-in digital to analogue converters, dual channel time base corrector, RGB colour processor with memory and a four channel stereo mixer with stereo microphone and earphone connections. Also a PC Link digital overlay interface port which allows you to connect to a PC overlay card to import PC text and graphics.
The SE-800 also boasts an impressive full size control panel which features a joystick control for accurate positioning of Mosaic effects and 30 pre-programmed keys, which allow you to playback the pre-programmed functions instantly with a single key stroke.
There are a multitude of digital effects including A/B rolls and dissolves, PIP, border lines, chromakey, zoom to name a few, and over 100 digital effects with 3 transition speeds. The SE-800 has dual channel Time Base Correction for perfect glitch free switching – and there is no need to genlock analog video sources.
